From the Southwest, West, and Northwest
Via routes 2, 9, 95, or the Massachusetts Turnpike (Rt. 90), exit onto the
Boston circumferential, Route 128 (Rt. 95), and proceed north to its
intersection with Route 2. Proceed east on Route 2 to the junction of Routes 2
and 16. Turn left on Route 16 east (Alewife Brook Parkway). Follow Route 16
through two full traffic lights. Take the next right, a sharp turn, onto Powder
House Boulevard. Proceed to a major rotary, and exit the rotary onto Warner St.
(3/4 around the rotary) which turns into Harvard St. Continue on Harvard Street
through one set of lights. The Science and Technology Center will be on your
left after the railroad bridge.
From the North
Via routes 1, 3, 95, 28, or 93, the recommended approach is via the Boston
circumferential, Route 128 (Rt. 95), to its intersection with Rt. 93. Go south
on Rt. 93 to Exit 32, Medford Square. Proceed to the center of the square, turn
left onto Main Street. Follow Main Street straight. Turn right at the light onto
Harvard Street (third light after passing Dunkin Donuts). Proceed straight on
Harvard Street for approximately 1/4 mile. The Science and Technology Center
will be on your right just before the next major intersection.
From Boston, the South, and the South Shore
Follow the Southeast Expressway (Rt. 3 north) to Route 93 north to Exit 31
(Mystic Valley Parkway, Route 16). Follow the exit ramp to Medford Square. At
the blinking light at the end of the ramp, turn left onto Main Street. Follow
Main Street straight. Turn right at the light onto Harvard Street (third light
after passing Dunkin Donuts). Proceed straight on Harvard St. for approximately
1/4 mile. The Science and Technology Center will be on your right just before
the next major intersection.
From Davis Square (Red Line T-Stop)
Take College Ave. exit from T station. Take right onto College Ave. Follow
College Ave. to Powder House Square Rotary. Cross intersection at rotary and
proceed straight onto Warner St. (which will be in front of you). Warner St.
turns into Harvard St. Follow Harvard St., beyond underpass. The Science and
Technology Building will be on the left after the underpass.
Parking
There is ample, conveniently located parking directly behind the Tufts
Science and Technology Center building. Please do not park on the street or in
the parking lot in front of the building.
