Directions to Tufts Gordon Institute's Information Sessions

Directions by Car
From the Southwest, West and Northwest: via Routes 2, 9, Interstate
95, or the Massachusetts Turnpike (Route 90), exit onto the Boston
circumferential, Route 128 (Interstate 95), and proceed to its
intersection with Route 2, exit 29A. Proceed east on Route 2 to the
junction of Routes 2 and 16. Turn left onto Route 16 east (Alewife
Brook Parkway). Follow Route 16 through two full traffic lights.
Take the next right, a sharp turn, onto Powderhouse Boulevard.
Proceed to Packard Avenue, the third left, which leads onto campus.
Follow Packard over the top of the hill (the academic quadrangle
will be on your right as you pass over the crest of the hill). Take
your second right and park in the Visitors Parking Garage (You will
be provided a $5 token at the Information Session so parking will be
free). Take the elevator to the 7th floor of Dowling Hall. Exit
Dowling Hall and walk over the footbridge which connects Dowling
Hall to the academic quad. As you pass through the faculty/staff
parking lot, you will find Packard Hall on your right. Follow the
path onto the academic quad. Proceed directly across the quad to Ballou Hall.
From Boston, the South, and the South Shore: follow the Southeast
Expressway (Route 3 North) to Interstate 93 North** to Exit 31
(Mystic Valley Parkway). At the fork, take the right (sign reads
"Medford Square"). At the lights in the square, take a left on Main
Street and continue down Main Street to the lights at Harvard
Street, take a right on Harvard Street. At the end of Harvard Street
is the Powderhouse rotary. A Tufts athletic field is at the rotary.
Take the right onto College Avenue, and proceed up College Avenue.
After the athletic fields, you will see a parking lot on your left.
Take your next left onto Professors Row. Take a right onto Packard
Avenue. Follow Packard over the top of the hill (the academic
quadrangle will be on your right as you pass over the crest of the
hill). Take your second right and park in the Visitors Parking
Garage (You will be provided a $5 token at the Information Session
so parking will be free). Take the elevator to the 7th floor of
Dowling Hall. Exit Dowling Hall and walk over the footbridge which
connects Dowling Hall to the academic quad. As you pass through the
faculty/staff parking lot, you will find Packard Hall on your right.
Follow the path onto the academic quad. Proceed directly across the
quad to Ballou Hall.
From the North: via Routes 1, 3, or the Interstates 95 or 93, the
recommended approach is via the Boston circumferential Route 128
(Interstate 95), to its intersection with Route 93. Go south on
Route 93 to Exit 32, Medford Square. Proceed to the center of the
square, turn left onto Main Street, and continue down Main Street to
the lights at Harvard Street, take a right on Harvard Street. At the
end of Harvard Street is the Powderhouse rotary. A Tufts athletic
field is at the rotary. Take the right onto College Avenue, and
proceed up College Avenue. After the athletic fields, you will see a
parking lot on your left. Take your next left onto Professors Row.

From the South/Boston/Logan: If you are coming from the South, take
Rt. 3N to Rt 93. If coming from Logan, follow signs to Rt 93 via the
Sumner Tunnel. Take Rt 93N to exit 31. Follow the exit ramp to
Medford Square. At blinking lights, turn left onto Main St., and
continue down Main Street to the lights at Harvard Street, take a
right on Harvard Street. At the end of Harvard Street is the
Powderhouse rotary. A Tufts athletic field is at the rotary. Take
the right onto College Avenue, and proceed up College Avenue. After
the athletic fields, you will see a parking lot on your left. Take
your next left onto Professors Row. Take a right onto Packard
Avenue. Follow Packard over the top of the hill (the academic

Directions by Public Transportation
Subway: If you are coming by subway, or T, take the Red Line to
the Davis Square Station. Exit the Davis Square Station on the
College Avenue side. You may take the #94 or #96 bus or walk 15
minutes along College Avenue to the Tufts campus. If you board the
bus, ask the driver to stop across from the Memorial Steps at Tufts
University, just before the intersection of College and Boston
Avenues. If you walk, turn right out of the subway station and
follow College Avenue around a traffic circle. The Tufts Campus will
be on your left. Continue on College Avenue until you reach the
Memorial Steps on your left. Walk up the steps and Ballou Hall will
be a short walk down on your left - white columns at the front of
the building). Take the stairs to the 2nd floor.
Via Subway from the Airport: Board the airport shuttle bus to the
Airport subway stop on the Blue Line. Take the Blue Line inbound to
Government Center and change to the Green Line westbound to Park
Street. Change again to the Red Line outbound to the Davis stop.
Follow the directions, directly above, for Subway.
From the bus terminals on Atlantic Avenue and the Amtrak terminal in
South Station, Boston: Follow signs to the MBTA Red Line South
Station subway trains. Board an inbound train to Davis Station.
