You are invited to join us at the 2016 $100k New Ventures Competition. A university-wide event, the competition draws entries from recent alumni, faculty, staff, undergraduate and graduate applicants from across the university. RSVP today.

The $100k competition and finalist pitches will be held on Wednesday, April 6, and the Tufts Entrepreneurship Expo and Awards Ceremony , which will include $100k finalist & entrepreneurial student showcases and presentation of the $100k award winners, will take place in the evening on Thursday, April 7. Hors d’oeuvres and cocktails will be served. We look forward to seeing you at both events!

Who should enter the Classic Track of the New Ventures Competition?

Businesses geared towards creating value in the private sector.

Who should enter the Social Track of the New Ventures Competition?

Businesses with a mission to create and sustain social value.
Businesses that benefit society and promote active citizenship.
A significant part of the venture is dedicated to one or more of the following: creating a positive social impact, improving living conditions, upward economics/social mobility, or environmental impact.
Social Ventures can be non-for-profit, for-profit or hybrid.

Who should enter the Medical / Life Science Track of the New Ventures Competition?

Businesses with a focus on medical, health and wellness topics. Dental, Veterinary, Biomedical, Nutrition-focused businesses.
