MSEM EVENING FORMAT
A new format designed to meet
the diverse needs of our students.
Research with prospective students has indicated that
some working professionals would prefer to attend
classes in the evening after work rather than on the
weekend. In response to this need and to the overall
demand for the MSEM program, Tufts Gordon Institute has
introduced an evening program, which will commence in
the fall of 2009.
Classes are held two evenings per week over the course
of four academic semesters. During the first year,
classes are held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from
6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. During the second year, classes are
held Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 9:00
pm.
Class sessions are not held during the summer between
the first and second year, however, students do work on
the practicum, a team-consulting project, during this
period. Students must also complete a real-world
individual leadership project during their 4 semesters
of study.
Once you have been admitted to the evening program, you
must attend all classes with your cohort. (No switching
between evening and weekend classes is permitted.) All
classes are held at Tufts Gordon Institute, 200 Boston
Avenue, Suite 2400, Medford, MA. A light meal is served
at 5:30 pm, prior to the beginning of class, in order to
facilitate interaction among students and between
students and faculty.
