MSEM WEEKEND FORMAT
An engineering management
program designed to fit your life, perfectly.
The weekend Master’s in Engineering Management
program provides students with the dedicated window of
time to focus on their studies without significantly
impacting their work schedules. Students attend classes
every other Friday and Saturday, from 9:00 am to 4:00
pm, over the course of four academic semesters. Most
students are granted the time off required to attend
Friday classes, or utilize flex-time options to make up
for their time away from the workplace.
Class sessions are not held during the summer between
the first and second year, however, students do work on
the practicum, a team-consulting project, during this
period. Students must also complete a real-world
individual leadership project during their four
semesters of study.
Once you have been admitted to the weekend program, you
must attend all classes with your cohort. (No switching
between weekend and evening classes is permitted.) All
classes are held at Tufts Gordon Institute, 200 Boston
Avenue, Suite 2400, Medford, MA.
The Friday/Saturday format is ideal for fostering
camaraderie. Lunch is served between classes in order to
facilitate interaction among students and between
students and faculty. There are also opportunities to
gather socially in the evenings after classes.
