BEYOND ACADEMICS
In addition to the intensive coursework, the
Entrepreneurial Leadership Program provides a variety of
opportunities for students to get involved with entrepreneurship outside the
classroom.
The program organizes and supports
activities, clubs, and lectures on campus, including:
- The
$100,000 Business Plan
Competition as featured by
Forbes Magazine in their January 2010 list of
15 Big Small-Business Contests.
- The Alan Shapiro Lecture Series,
an annual series that features distinguished entrepreneurial leaders.
The 2011 inaugural event featured the Co-founder and CTO of KAYAK.
- The
Lyon & Bendheim Alumni Lecture
Series,
a bi-annual series that features prominent and successful alumni. Past speakers
have included executives from Loews Hotels, SoBe Beverages, Genzyme Genetics and
Digitas.

Internships are
offered every year to four students interested in working in an entrepreneurial
setting.

The Tufts Entrepreneurial Network (TEN) a partnership organization
between Tufts Alumni and the Gordon
Institute's Entrepreneurial Leadership Program helping alumni foster and grow
their own businesses and entrepreneurial endeavors.

Young Entrepreneurs at
Tufts (YET) – a
group that organizes and hosts entrepreneurial-focused educational and
networking events at Tufts.
