Dr. Greenwald, cofounder of Relay Technology Management, Inc., currently serves as Managing Director. Relay is a software analytics company that provides real time business intelligence and data visualization to the life sciences industry. Previously, Dr. Greenwald was an Associate Investigator at the Naval Medical Research Center in Silver Spring, MD. While there, Dr. Greenwald worked with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) on 510(k) applications for diagnostic devices for dengue fever. Dr. Greenwald was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute (HHMI) research fellow while earning a B.S. in Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park. He was awarded an NIH Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA) towards his Ph.D. research dissertation on gene therapy for Retinitis Pigmentosa. Dr. Greenwald focuses on infectious diseases, cancer and genetics. He is an active Licensing Executive Society member. In his spare time, Dr. Greenwald enjoys sailing in Boston harbor and serves on the Board of Directors for Piers Park Sailing Center in Boston, MA. He publishes his perspectives on the entrepreneurism and the innovation economy on his personal blog.
