Annette Sawyer has more than 20 years of product development and operations experience. She currently serves as Director of Education and Enrichment Programs at the Museum of Science in Boston. In this role she oversees all programming which reaches more than 315,000 students and teachers in New England.
Prior to the Museum of Science, Sawyer served as a licensing executive with Tufts University. Her responsibilities included analyzing various industries and companies as potential licensing partners and identifying applicable intellectual property for licensing opportunities.
Previously Sawyer was a Senior Technical Manager at Polaroid Corporation where she led a team in development of a next-generation film prototype and translation to the next phase of manufacturing and delivery.
Sawyer earned an MBA from Boston University, a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a B.A. in Psychology and Speech Therapy from University of Maine.
