Partha Ghosh
Partha Ghosh is a renowned Management Consultant and Policy Advisor with an extensive record of
solving strategic, operational and complex organizational issues in technology based industries.
He has a proven track record across various cultures both at macro and micro economic levels gained
through extensive consulting engagements in the Americas, Asia, Australia, and Europe. As an
inspiring public speaker and a compelling writer, Partha has delivered more than hundred key note
addresses in significant leadership forums organized by prestigious universities, industry
associations, and joint business council in several nations, on a range of issues related to
Strategic/Change management, future technologies, global economy and socio economic advance.
In 1989 Mr. Ghosh founded Partha S. Ghosh & Associates, a consulting firm that enables corporate
and government leaders conceptualize, develop and implement new business and economic paradigms in
anticipation of emerging possibilities and inspire/lead multiple client teams to implement demanding
change programs. A trusted problem-solver and strategic advisor to political and corporate leaders,
he led major strategic initiatives on behalf of nations and multinationals to drive thinking and
decisions of high profile leaders. He also helped launch several entrepreneurial ventures in the
Internet and packaged software industries in Japan, and founded a non-profit organization, The Boston
Pledge, to serve grass root people in underprivileged areas of the world on health, education and
entrepreneurship development.
Prior to founding his consulting firm, Mr.Ghosh had a distinguished career at McKinsey & Company.
As an associate at McKinsey from 1977-1983, Ghosh served the CEOs & Boards of Fortune 100
Corporations in Europe, Japan and the Americas in the automobile, chemical, electrical, & instruments
industries. He earned a global reputation for quick diagnosis of strategic and organizational problems,
formulation of practical solutions and effective assistance to senior management to act on
recommendations in a compelling fashion across nations and cultures. From 1983-1989 he was a
Principal/Partner in McKinseys Tokyo office, where he defined and resolved strategic & organizational
issues with top management of large corporations in Japan, South East Asia and the U.S.
Mr. Ghosh holds a BS in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, a MS in
chemical engineering from MIT, and an MBA from the Alfred P. Sloan School of Management at MIT.
