Sinaia Nathanson
Sinaia Nathanson is a social psychologist specializing in conflict
resolution and organizational behavior. As a Senior Lecturer in the
department of psychology at TuftsUniversity, Dr. Nathanson teaches social psychology, conflict resolution, leadership, and group dynamics; she also leads courses on negotiation, mediation, and communication at the Gordon Institute and at the Tufts Program on Peace and Justice.
Prior to her current post at Tufts, Dr. Nathanson taught at the Graduate Program of Dispute Resolution at the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
Dr. Nathanson has consulted numerous organizations in the U.S. and abroad on organizational development and conducted training sessions in negotiation and mediation of interpersonal conflicts. Her research interests focus on conflict escalation in ongoing relationships, group decision-making, third-party intervention, and leadership. Dr.
Nathanson earned her Masters Degree at Harvard and her Doctorate at Tufts University.
