Research Interests:
Research interests are in the areas of manufacturing processes, machining of engineering materials, deformation process simulation, Taguchi analysis, advanced materials, materials processing, microstructural analysis, finite element modeling, measurement and modeling of residual strains and stresses in metal, intermetallic, and ceramic matrix composites, non-destructive analysis, physical metallurgy, mechanical behavior, and heat treatment.
