Interested applicants can apply through the Tufts Venturing Competitions Platform. The deadline to apply is February 1, 2017. Apply via the Tufts $100k New Ventures Competition.
The objective of the Accelerator is to provide to undergraduate and graduate students with an array of business support resources and services along a tailored curriculum in order to extend and enhance the leadership role that Tufts plays in fostering entrepreneurship as a means to bring the Tufts mission of active citizenship to life.
Startups in the summer Accelerator will be able to focus on advancing their venture without distractions. The Accelerator program provides each participant with a living stipend of $3,250.

The Tufts Accelerator is a full-time commitment between July 5 and August 30, 2017. As such, students are required to limit other employment to no more than 5-10 hours per week, and may not take summer classes or participate in internships while participating in the program.
I understand that I am solely responsible for the use of my living stipend once distributed in July, including but not limited to securing housing for the duration of the program and organizing all aspects of travel, as applicable.
I will attend and participate in the weekly programming offered as part of the Tufts Summer Accelerator program, unless unable to for reasons connected to my startup as confirmed by the Startup Coach.
I agree to pitch my business at the poster session in the Fall 2017 semester. I understand that there will be a pitch conference open to the Tufts community and investors at the end of the session.
I agree to adhere to the standards of academic integrity and Tufts community citizenship as outlined in University policies and Code of Conduct (see uss.tufts.edu/studentaffairs/ for details).
I will notify the Startup Coach immediately if no longer able to agree to any of the above requirements. I understand that violation of any of the requirements may result in the repayment of grant funds and/or ineligibility for such funds in the future.
