Where were you in your career and what drove your decision to go back to school?
Being a part of a very young engineering group at a very successful and fast growing company, I realized a great opportunity to have the chance to become a leader within my organization and field. In order to do so, I would need to not only have job experience, but gain leadership/management skills that I did not receive in my previous education.
Why did you choose to pursue a M.S. in Engineering Management at Tufts?
After discussing with upper management, the company’s GM recommended the Tuft’s MSEM program as he had previous experience with graduates. After looking at the diverse and intriguing curriculum, I knew this was the right program to advance my career as a Technical Leader.
What is your favorite part of the Tufts MSEM experience so far?
After completing one semester, my favorite experience to date has been the New Product Development team project. Taking product ideas and taking them through the entire process of what it would take to bring an idea to market was an unforgettable experience, that could be instantly translated into professional life.
