Undergraduate University: Boston University Degree and Major: B.S. Mechanical Engineering Work Experience before Tufts Systems Engineer, Raytheon
Where were you in your career and what drove your decision to go back to school?
“Prior to Tufts, I had been working in systems engineering for a few years. I was ready for a new challenge and wanted to enhance my technical background with a management perspective. I knew that the MSEM program would elevate my career and understandings of industry to lead me to my next path.”
Why did you choose to pursue a M.S. in Engineering Management at Tufts?
"I chose Tufts’ MSEM program due to the outstanding faculty, flexibility of the weekend cohort, and the competitive curriculum. Tufts’ MSEM program accounts for technical understandings with a spin of strategy and self-awareness. The professors and curriculum challenges each student to their next level."
What is your favorite part of the Tufts MSEM experience so far?
"My favorite part of the Tufts MSEM experience so far has been the group projects. In the group projects students interface with each other and are able to gain different insights from each other on a current demand or a new product development idea. Here we are able to see how other qualified individuals approach a project and pose a solution. It definitely creates an innovative environment."
