Immersive Experiences
Customize your own hybrid MSEM experience to your schedule and interests.
Students in the MS in Engineering Management program seeking a hybrid combination of online and on-campus elements are encouraged to supplement their online learning with optional intensive weekend in-person experiences throughout the year.
Open to both students in the local area and those who would like to travel to Massachusetts from around the world, these immersive experiences allow you to explore different topics while earning graduate credit and experiencing all that Boston and the Tufts University campus have to offer. Topics will range from innovation and entre-/intra-preneurship to business analyics and leadership, with new sessions being announced on an ongoing basis.

Each weekend immersive can be leveraged as 1 credit towards your elective requirements. Over the course of your MSEM experience, you’re able to earn 4 credits via these immersive experiences with a maximum of 2 per year.
Tufts Gordon Institute’s next immersive weekend will be focused on innovation, reaching across multiple disciplines, industries, and future trends, to bring the concept to life.
In addition to lively discussions with Tufts faculty and industry experts, you’ll participate in hands-on workshops featuring collaborative assignments, case analysis and other interactive elements. This deep-dive educational experience will also offer you networking and social opportunities with your fellow MSEM students, faculty, staff, and more.
