Bob brings to Tufts more than three decades of leadership, program management, and education experience in the private sector, the military, and the federal government. In addition to lecturing at Tufts, Bob trains government officials across the globe in infrastructure procurement methods to support economic growth. He also lectures at the Veterans Administration Supply Chain Management School.
Previously, he established a startup business and led it through successful acquisition and has trained dozens of entrepreneurs in leadership and business management. He has executed enterprise-wide education and process improvement efforts for Fortune 500 clients such as Tyson Foods, SAIC, International Paper, and Philips Petroleum. Bob is a doctoral candidate at the University of Florida in Curriculum and Instruction with an emphasis on Educational Technology.
In the US Navy, he planned and led special boat operations in Panama, Korea, Côte d'Ivoire, and the Persian Gulf. He has led economic and policy analysis in support of stability operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. He was a US Navy Combatant Craft Patrol Officer, a graduate of the U.S. Army John F. Kennedy Special Warfare Center, Civil Affairs School, and the Joint Special Operations Planning Course. He was awarded the Bronze Star for service in Iraq.
