Tuition & Fees
Tuition
The 2025-2026 tuition rate for Tufts School of Engineering graduate level courses is $1,799 per credit. At the per-credit tuition rate for the 2025-2026 academic year, the total cost to complete the 30 credits required to earn a Tufts Gordon Institute master's degree will be $53,970*.
*Note: The total degree cost will vary depending on the per credit rate at the time that a student enrolls in a course and the total number of elective credits completed.

Scholarships
The Gordon Institute awards tuition scholarships to both U.S. citizens/permanent residents and non-U.S. citizens. Recipients will be notified of the amount of their award at the time of acceptance. These scholarships are percentage-per-credit based awards that will be applied throughout the duration of the student's enrollment in their Gordon Institute graduate program.
Scholarships are awarded on the basis of merit. Merit is assessed through the application for admission. To be considered for a tuition scholarship, applicants must fill out the financial aid section of the online application. We strongly encourage applicants who want to be considered for a Gordon Institute scholarship to apply by the priority deadline.

Additional Financing Options
In addition to scholarships, financing options typically include personal resources, educational loans and company tuition reimbursement. Since the Gordon Institute offers professional graduate programs, neither research or teaching assistantships are available to students.

Student Employment
Gordon Institute full-time students pursuing part-time work while studying typically work between 8-12 hours a week in either on-campus or off-campus positions. Corporate Reimbursement
Many students are eligible to have their tuition covered by their company's tuition reimbursement programs. We encourage students to reach out to their Human Resources department and manager to understand if there is an available benefit, what the requirements are, any caps for the amount reimbursed, and the deadlines for submitting paperwork. Tufts Financial Services provides additional Billing Information related to payment plans, loans, and third-party billing options that may be available in conjunction with corporate tuition reimbursement.
