Now Joshua Reed-Diawuoh’s fair-trade snack company is empowering African farmers

Over the course of four years, Joshua Reed-Diawuoh, A13 and Lecturer at the Derby Entrepreneurship Center, spent his nights and weekends working on his side hustle. Last fall, after building traction at farmers market sales and his first retail accounts, he quit his day job at a global manufacturer to go all-in on his start-up, GRIA Food Co.
