SWE Boston Professional Development Meeting: September 21
TGI Lecturer Jerry Brightman, PhD will be speaking on “Nurturing Individual and Team Creativity”. He will be utilizing a number of interactive activities to help attendees undercover the creativity in themselves as well as in their work teams
SWE Region F Leadership Summit at Tufts: September 24
TGI is one of the sponsors for a day of professional and leadership development workshops, leadership coaching sessions, networking, and best practices sharing. MSIM Program Director Kevin Oye will be speaking on innovation and TGI’s own MSEM alumni, Jennifer Braggin, has been assisting with facilitating the event as well as TGI’s involvement.
TGI will also be sponsoring the Tufts SWE student chapter attending the national conference in Philadelphia in October.
Global Consortium of Entrepreneurship Centers Conference: September 29 – October 1
Kevin Oye, MSIM Program Director and Professor of Practice, will be attending the conference to continue to build connections with innovation and entrepreneurship programs throughout the country as well as continue to bring awareness to TGI’s new MSIM program.
MSEM Lunch & Learn at BAE Systems: October 4 & November 16
MSEM faculty members Jerry Brightman and Mark Bamford will be holding lunch and learns at BAE Systems in Nashua, New Hampshire. Brightman will be discussing “Teams and Trust” on October 4th, while Mark Bamford will be addressing “Conflict Resolution: Dealing with Latent Organizational Conflict” on November 16th.
Entegris Innovation Workshop: October 18th
MSIM Program Director and Professor of Practice Kevin Oye will be giving the keynote speech at a private Entegris event to kickoff a corporate wide initiative to generate innovation.
PDMA Boston Chapter Event: November 1
TGI is hosting a series of round table discussions focusing on “What’s Working in New Product Development” featuring keynote speaker Gavin Finn, TGI Professor of the Practice, Entrepreneurial Marketing; Engineering Management; New Product Development.
