Tufts Gordon Institute’s MS in Innovation & Management (MSIM) is a fast-paced, one-year graduate program designed to equip you with the tools to solve some of the world’s most pressing challenges. By emphasizing collaborative projects, experiential learning, and real-world mentorship, MSIM offers an hands-on experience that will propel you toward the career you’ve always envisioned. Through your MSIM experience, you will boost your technical know-how with essential business knowledge and communication skills to become a changemaker capable of finding and implementing empathetic and effective solutions to real-world problems.

At the heart of the MSIM curriculum are Innovation Sprints — semester-long, hands-on projects where teams work to address real-world problems with practical solutions. Your Sprint team will ideate, validate, and present solutions to real-world problems under expert guidance. These immersive projects integrate core curriculum elements, such as business strategy, financial modeling, marketing, and customer discovery, culminating in a pitch deck presentation. Whether you're aiming for entrepreneurship or leadership roles, the Sprints provide a framework to apply classroom knowledge in a practical setting, giving you a platform to showcase your innovative skills in a tangible, resume-ready way.

A fast-paced, relevant path to a graduate degree

The MSIM is a one-year, full-time program designed to fast-track your career ambitions; get your degree quickly and get right into your career. With the option to extend your experience through a Co-op or an additional semester, you can customize your journey to suit your goals. This on-campus program is F-1 visa and STEM extension eligible. Study in Boston, an international innovation hub, with the opportunity to connect with over 100 other colleges and universities.

The MSIM program will equip you with a broad range of skills, preparing you to take on leadership roles across various industries, including corporate businesses, tech sectors, startups, and beyond. Through the Innovation Sprints, you'll gain the essential knowledge needed to build a venture from the ground up, giving you the tools to launch your own startup or step into leadership positions in established companies. While 90% of our graduates choose to enter the workforce in roles like product management, business analytics, and marketing, 10% pursue their ventures by launching full-time startups.
