Three startups founded by Tufts community members participated in Techstars Boston Accelerator Demo Day on Aug. 10, 2022.

Peter Cheimets, MSEM ’07, turned his MS in Engineering Management capstone project into a business development initiative that transformed his role at the Smithsonian Astrophysical Observatory.

The Deshpande Foundation awarded DEC the Excellence in Curriculum Innovation in Entrepreneurship Award.

Meet Amber Asumda, A22, a Tisch Scholar and student in the Entrepreneurship for Social Impact minor who was inspired by the Black Lives Matter movement to create the Black Women’s Empowerment Conference at Tufts.
