Celebrating Our Graduate: The 2024 Annual Backyard Bash
Join us in celebrating our graduates at this year's annual Backyard Bash through this photostory.
On May 17, Tufts Gordon Institute held our annual Backyard Bash to celebrate this year's graduating class of students with the wider Tufts Gordon Institute community including family, friends, faculty, staff, and alumni. For the past few years, the Backyard Bash has been held on Tufts' Medford campus where attendees can spend an evening forming connections, playing yard games, and enjoying drinks and BBQ.
Thanks to beautiful weather that added to the welcoming atmosphere, this year's Backyard Bash was a perfect evening!

Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and their faculty and friends had the opportunity to reunite, build new connections, and celebrate this wonderful occasion together.
Midway through the event, Kevin Oye, Executive Director of Tufts Gordon Institute, and Sam Liggero, Academic Director of the MSEM & MSTML, gave a short speech congratulating graduates, thanking parents, and recognizing faculty and staff. In true Kevin and Sam fashion, they could not resist by adding a bit of humor, and finished their speech with a little poem featuring guest author ChatGPT.
Attendees also had an opportunity to win raffle prizes!
The Backyard Bash concluded with more mingling and lots of photo-taking before attendees left the tent, heading home before the next morning's commencement ceremony.
What a wonderful way to end a great year and celebrate our graduates!
