    • As a part of Tufts University, our graduate students have access to the Tufts Career Center where they can receive advising, workshops, and resources for any career support they need. The Career Center is available for students while they are enrolled in a Tufts program as well as post-graduation as alumni. 
  • Mentorship opportunities available to all students

    • We offer mentor matching to 100% of our graduate students once they enroll at TGI. Our mentors span a diverse range of industries, experience, and many of them are even Tufts Gordon Institute alumni! To find out more about our mentorship program, click here.
  • Extensive alumni networks and opportunities to connect

    • We are proud to say that Tufts Gordon Institute has a diverse and active community of alumni who often attend both virtual and in-person events throughout the year. Our alumni participate in panel discussions, mentor matching events, celebrations and more!

    • These optional, weekend-long intensive experiences are open to all TGI students whether enrolled in their program online or on-campus. At an Immersive Experience, students participate in workshops lead by our faculty and industry experts, enjoy networking in the classroom and out of the classroom, and focus on a specific topic for the entire weekend from innovation to business to leadership and more.
  • Study in the innovation hub of Boston

    • With over 100 colleges and universities, an unparalleled concentration of renowned science and technology businesses, and a dynamic start-up culture fueled by ever-expanding venture capital resources, Boston is the perfect backyard for your studies in leadership, innovation, management, or entrepreneurship.
  • Opportunities to network with faculty and fellow students

    • Whether you are studying Online or On-Campus you will have many opportunities throughout your time at TGI to connect with your peers and faculty members. Many of our students make quick connections with one another due to group course work and take advantage of office hours with our faculty. Tufts Gordon Institute also hosts many events open to all of our students and faculty in which they are able to mingle and network (check out our events page to keep up-to-date on events). On-campus students are also encouraged to take advantage of the graduate student lounge and other opportunities at Tufts to connect with peers and faculty throughout Tufts University

  • Executive in Residence (XIR)

    • Sandy Rosenberg currently serves as Tufts Gordon Institute's first XIR; he is a hands-on resource for the Tufts University community through Tufts Gordon Institute with the mission of helping students transform their ideas into viable, innovative ventures. The XIR advises and assists any students, staff, and faculty across the whole arc of company formation, and particularly as they scale and grow an organization beyond the startup phase.
  • Entrepreneurs in Residence (EIRs)

    • Entrepreneurs in Residence bring the many lessons they have learned throughout their own entrepreneurial journeys directly to aspiring entrepreneurs at Tufts University. EIR’s are an invaluable resource to Tufts students, providing 1-on-1 coaching, hosting workshops, and speaking in entrepreneurship and innovation courses.

  • Auster Center for Applied Innovation Research

    • The Auster Center for Applied Innovation Research (AIR Center) is dedicated to advancing our understanding of how innovation can be fostered, translated, and applied to do good in the world. This will be accomplished through support and funding Tufts faculty and students to conduct research in order to explore novel ways to solve problems and achieve impact through applied innovation. 
  • Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts

    • The Derby Entrepreneurship Center at Tufts (DEC) is the University's hub for entrepreneurship; participate in events, competitions, and access tools provided by DEC as a student at Tufts. DEC strives to develop an entrepreneurial mindset among Tufts students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the wider Boston community. 
  • Buddy matching for enrolling students

    • Once accepted into a Tufts Gordon Institute graduate program, you will be matched with a buddy who is a current student open to answering any and all questions about transitioning to TGI.

  • Joyce Cummings Center

    • As one of the newest buildings at Tufts University, the Joyce Cummings Center (JCC) is a modern, gorgeous space housing classrooms, community spaces, research laboratories, and a full service Starbucks all steps away from the Medford/Tufts Green Line MBTA station. All Tufts Gordon Institute facilities are housed in the Joyce Cummings Center. Watch a video about the JCC here. 
  • MSIM Studio

    • The MSIM studio is a classroom and makerspace dedicated to the MS in Innovation & Management students, who have 24/7 keycard access. Students have core classes in the studio and are welcome to use the space for studying, creative pursuits, and working on their ventures. 
  • Nolop Makerspace

    • Nolop is a makerspace open to everyone at Tufts University. Build cool stuff with a large collection of well-maintained tools, learn how to use those tools safely from experienced makerspace staff, and discover a community of makers to keep you motivated and creative. No experience is necessary to use the space, learn more here!
  • Tufts Gordon Institute Office

    • The TGI office is located in the Joyce Cummings Center and is a community-based space open to all students, faculty, staff, and alumni. The office space features a front lounge area where students are welcome to socialize and study together, as well as conference spaces set up for hybrid meetings and conversations. 
  • Tufts Graduate Student Lounges

    • The Tufts AS&E Graduate Student Council manages and operates two graduate student lounges on the Medford/Somerville campus. These lounges are accessible 24/7 and are a great space for students to utilize alongside graduate students in other departments and colleges across the university. .
