During my time at Tufts Gordon Institute, I had the privilege of having several transformative mentors who showed me first-hand the power of guidance and support that I continue to use today.

Mentorship at Tufts Gordon Institute
100% of students offered mentor matching
Mentorship plays an important role for graduate students at Tufts Gordon Institute by providing invaluable guidance and support as they navigate their academic and professional journeys. Mentorship is offered to all of our graduate students who have the unique opportunity to network with industry professionals at many moments throughout their studies.
Each student that I've mentored has been unique in their background and ambitions, which has made for a great experience as a mentor. The students have all been very high caliber and I find it very fulfilling to offer my industry experience to help them in any way that I can.

- Suggestions on the mentee's leadership development plan and career goals
- Share industry knowledge and experience with students
- Guidance on conducting job searches
- Feedback on cover letters, professional emails, and resumes
- When appropriate, introductions to people in the mentor's professional network who may provide additional advice and connections of their mentee

A pattern of success
With such a large, diverse community of mentors along with dedicated, eager, and inspired graduate students, we see success in our mentorship program year after year. Our alumni often report continuing their relationships with their mentors for years following graduation. These alumni then return to mentor new students and bring the cycle full circle, subsequently creating more lasting relationships from the position as a mentor.
As an early participant in the Innovation & Management program, mentoring students has been a fulfilling way to maintain my connection to TGI and empower current students with my professional experience.
