Dr. Greenwald is a co-founder of Relay Technology Management, Inc. and currently serves as Managing Director. He was the 2008 winner of the Tufts Business Plan competition, and an award winning finalist at the $1,000,000 MassChallenge global business plan competition in 2010. He earned a B.S. in Cellular Biology and Molecular Genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and a PhD in Genetics from the Tufts Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Greenwald was an entrepreneur at Polaris Ventures’ DogPatchLabs. Prior to co-founding Relay Technology Management, he was an Associate Investigator at the Naval Medical Research Center in Silver Spring, MD. Dr. Greenwald focuses on infectious diseases, cancer and genetics. He publishes his perspectives on the entrepreneurism and the innovation economy on his personal blog.
