Tufts Gordon Institute is pleased to announce that Kevin Oye will serve as the Executive Director ad interim.

Kevin joined Tufts in 2015 as the Director of the new M.S. in Innovation and Management program, and as a Professor of the Practice in business strategy and innovation. Over the last three years, he has led the way as the Gordon Institute developed and launched the new MSIM, building it into a rigorous, hands-on program that has doubled in size since its inaugural class and continues to grow.

Kevin is a veteran Jumbo himself, graduating from Tufts with his B.S. in electrical engineering, and was previously a member of the School of Engineering’s Board of Advisors and Curriculum Task Force. He has over 35 years of experience leading product development, corporate strategy, and merger and acquisition teams, holding positions with Sycamore Networks, Inc. and AT&T Bell Laboratories. His global leadership skills and technical depth have benefited Tufts immensely. The Gordon Institute will be in excellent hands with Kevin as the School of Engineering begins the process of identifying a successor to Mark Ranalli.

As was previously announced, Mark will be the new Dean of Montana State University’s Jake Jabs College of Business and Entrepreneurship. In his time as Executive Director of Tufts Gordon Institute, Mark has led the Institute through a remarkable period of growth and change, more than doubling enrollment across its programs.

Please join us in thanking Kevin for generously agreeing to take on this important position with the Gordon Institute, and in thanking Mark for four wonderful years at Tufts and congratulating him on his new role.
