MaryAnn DiRamo receives the Tufts Distinction Award

Congratulations to MaryAnn DiRamio, Administrative Assistant at Tufts Gordon Institute, who was one of this year’s Distinction Award winners. A university wide event, the awards celebrate and recognize exceptional staff and faculty accomplishments. MaryAnn, along with 15 other recipients were honored at a ceremony on June 15 at the Boston campus.

As noted in her award submission, “MaryAnn is the rock on which the Gordon Institute stands, always leading by example and taking full ownership to ensure our operation runs smoothly. She pro-actively anticipates problems, builds bridges across departments, operates with humility and integrity behind the scenes, and instills confidence that every detail will be taken care of.  She is the smiling face that our students and staff see each day and the central figure that our faculty members rely on for all of their interactions with the University.”

A highly selective process, a selection committee made up of 15 staff members from across the university evaluates nominees who have demonstrated a commitment to the betterment of the Tufts community through dedication to professionalism, teamwork, and the value of service.

Congratulations, MaryAnn, on the well-deserved recognition!
