Transformative Leadership Community Launches with Workshops
Tufts Gordon Institute has launched a new initiative to address the needs of working professionals throughout the arc of their careers.
Aligning with a shifting work environment, Tufts Gordon Institute is launching the Tufts Transformative Leadership Community, a go-to resource of workshops, non-credit short courses, and more – all centered around empowering career growth and next-level learning for professionals in a tech-driven world. Tufts TLC will launch initially with two workshops geared toward mid-to-senior level leaders: “Leading in a Post-Pandemic World” (April 9 and 16) and “Organizational Effectiveness in the Midst of Chaos” (June 11 and 25).
The workshops provide just-in-time knowledge to address the needs of today’s workforce and their immediate challenges. Kicking off the platform’s portfolio, “Leading in a Post-Pandemic World” prepares participants for the new realities of work in the context of the looming COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. “Organizational Effectiveness in the Midst of Chaos” offers insights into strategic and effective paths forward during a period of flux buffeted by external forces and evolving priorities.
As part of a larger platform, the workshops are just one of several ways working professionals will be able to engage with the Tufts Transformative Leadership Community. This revolutionary way of delivering professional education leverages a peer-community to offer insights beyond the classroom, crowdsourcing thoughts and fostering networking opportunities.
Tufts TLC aims to provide synergistic, thought-provoking experiences with like-minded peers that are tailored for a variety of schedules and facilitated by industry-expert practitioners.
Expansions are planned to include offerings for leaders at various career stages. Tufts TLC and the initial workshops come at a time of continued emphasis on addressing career needs at every transition point.
“Following extensive research, we’ve heard from leaders across a variety of industries about their learning and development needs throughout the arc of their career,” said Nancy Buczko, Director of Admissions at Tufts Gordon Institute. “We’re committed to empowering the workforce of tomorrow and helping them become master practitioners who are able to chart their own course through times of uncertainty, all while driving business outcomes and leading organizations.”
Registration is currently open and ongoing for the first two workshops. TGI is celebrating the launch with limited-time promotions and special offers. Tufts community members and corporate partners receive 20% off each of the workshops which otherwise cost $395 each. In addition, a $790 bundle offer is available that includes both workshops along with a one-hour leadership coaching session – a $200 value – at no additional cost. The 20% discount can be used in conjunction with the bundle offer. To register for either of the workshops or the bundle offer, visit the platform page here.
