Ignite Your Innovative Spirit

The MS in Innovation & Management (MSIM) curriculum is designed to empower you with innovation and leadership skills through hands-on learning and collaboration. Our core courses including deep dives into marketing, finance, and business strategy are dynamic and constantly evolving in response to the questions and obstacles you'll encounter while in the MSIM program. The diversity and passion of your fellow students will become a resource to enrich your own perspective as you work together to overcome challenges and turn your ideas into real-world impact.

Central to the program are Innovation Sprints – semester-long group projects where you’ll identify a real-world problem, craft an innovative solution, and learn how to transform that solution into a viable business. Sprints offer a unique opportunity for students to develop, refine, and pitch their ideas in a dynamic and supportive environment, all while learning practical lessons from our experienced faculty in the classroom. The Sprint is the perfect vehicle to learn the skills needed to be successful in whatever you choose to do after graduation – whether that’s launch a new startup, take on a leadership position at an established company, or dive into researching solutions to the worlds biggest problems.

Our Faculty Make the Difference

At the heart of Tufts Gordon Institute are our faculty; they aren't just academics, they are seasoned professionals who bring their real-world experience into the classroom. Our faculty embody the spirit of our program with a student-first approach to teaching. They don't come to the classroom with a script for their lesson but with a curiosity to know more about you, the challenges you're facing in your career, and how they can help you succeed. With a lifetime of proven professional experience, they are the masters of "learning by doing" and eager to help you unlock your potential as a leader and innovator.

“Teaching is a mutual activity: I bring as much as I can into the classroom and return our students do the same. We work together to explore our questions, discover solutions, and ultimately grow.” - Jane Seminara, Professor of the Practice

Taking the Global Private Equity class at the Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy provided a unique opportunity to supplement my financial knowledge from Frank's entrepreneurial finance course, bridging the gap to later stages like Venture Capital and Private Equity. This elective not only deepened my understanding of how PE firms operate but also allowed me to connect with Fletcher faculty, fostering new ideas and opportunities.
